新年快乐！ Happy New Year, everybody, everywhere, all the time! 

《附录》出炉啦！这本书把家作坊过去几年的过程分成了43个平行时刻，43个过去，在我们项目的边缘找到其栖身之所。为了更好的未来，在2013 年底家作坊关上了它的大门，这本《附录》以何为额外创造之物为起点，力图阐述这些剩余的问题，希望将它们融合，或至少承认和追溯它们曾经的将要成为之物。

Announcing the publication of Appendix, a collection of 43 parallel moments gathered from those who have been close to HomeShop for years, or in passing, and located at the edges of our project. As HomeShop closes its doors for good at the end of 2013, this publication begins from the question of what extra has been produced during this time, and seeks in part to address some of these residuals, imagining to incorporate them, or at least to acknowledge and trace the extent of their supplementation.

家作坊介于工作和娱乐之间，但它并不属于两者中的任一个，因为家作坊绝不会屈服于只追求结果，或者拘泥于某个理论亦或是调查的暴政。
“It stands somewhere between work and play, but it defeats both in its refusal to submit to the tyranny of accountability for results, theories and surveys.”
 

如果我的结论是正确的那么我这一代人就要面对和接受作为艺术土壤的命运。
“If I was right about this, then my generation simply had to face up to our fate: we had to be that soil.”
 

如何组织一种“让它发生”的结构？
“How to organize the structure to ‘let happen?'”

可是这只是几周的意识形态假期，等一封邮件告诉她另一个光辉的未来……
“But this has only been several weeks of an ideological holiday. A letter awaits. One that speaks of a different, brighter future.”

计算工作量当然没有问题，但它只是一个意义生产过程的余数？
“One could quantify this value by adding up one’s billable hours, but does this mean that the intrinsic value of translation is a mere surplus, a remainder?”

之所以本质是空虚的，那是我发现“公开平台”的特质，我们天天尝试着破开“公开”。
“Its essence is empty, and perhaps that was the emptiness of an open platform where everyday we made attempts to open an understanding of the open.”
 

也许最有趣的问题是，对于自身实践的自反性和角色影响能否改变周边区域？
“Perhaps most interestingly, can their reflexivity about their own practices and roles influence the changes in the neighborhoods?”

我们胡拼乱凑出一个对正确答案的记忆。但如果你不能说出它到底是什么，那它怎么能算是正确的呢？
“We cobble together a memory of the correct answer. But what is a truth if you cannot tell it?”

黎明 DAWN：
22号晚上4点，家作坊將发布它的《附录》，把我们这几年的过程分成了43小短篇，43个过去。我们最后的作品——独立出版物《附录》，按附 录的附录价格算——也就是说，帮我们腾出空间，收一本。
From 4pm, we will launch the publication of HomeShop’s “Appendix,” a series of 43 parallel moments gathered from those who have been close to HomeShop for years, or in passing. These smallish, independently published books will be available to visitors and supporters on this evening, along with surprise attachments to take home.

黃昏 DUSK：
腾出空间——也是一种形式的“附录”，也就是说，我们到了这个故事的尾巴。家作坊即将在2013年年底关闭，这一次没有新空间的推广，就是一次小小的回 归，回到我们来自的“公共空间”。你懂得，谁能赶得上这个城市的发展？没时间怀念，就是让你过来跟我们庆祝家作坊的2013最后几 天。不光有个机会顺走一些免费或者特价的家具和物品，你还能得到《附录》刚从印刷厂出炉的温暖。我们真的不怀念，但是这“五年（半）计划”的 历史，也可以带回家。我们真的不怀念。
And if some of you had not heard already, the Appendix is the signal that we’ve reached the end of this story. HomeShop will be closing its doors at the end of 2013, without a bigger space to advertise this time, just a cosy and quiet drifting back out into public space and the wide wide world that brought us here. You should be used to the speed of change in this city by now, so there’s no time for nostalgia, just come over and enjoy the last bits of 2013 with us. Not only will Appendix be fresh from the press, but we’ll be clearing out the space, so for sure a bit of HomeShop to take home with you—some for free, some for a bargain, and maybe, some as the little bit of history that has been HomeShop. Five (and a half) Years is a Plan gone by… (okay, maybe just a bit of nostalgia.)
